✨The Holy Trinity ✨

One God. Three Persons.

The Bible reveals the Triune God—
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—
three distinct persons, yet one divine being.

📖 We joyfully confess this truth alongside the historic creeds of the Christian faith:
• Apostles’ Creed
• Nicene Creed
• Athanasian Creed

💥 On the basis of Holy Scripture, we teach:

➡️ The one true God
(Deut. 6:4; 1 Cor. 8:4)

➡️ Is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

➡️ Three distinct persons, yet one and the same divine essence

➡️ Equal in power
➡️ Equal in eternity
➡️ Equal in majesty

Because each person fully possesses the one divine essence
(Col. 2:9; Matt. 28:19)

💡 This is not a human idea—
but a divine truth revealed in God’s Word.

A mystery not to solve,
but to believe, confess, and worship.

🙏 To God alone be the glory

👋 New? Start Here

We’re glad you found us.

If you’re looking for a church—or just exploring—we want your first visit to feel clear, comfortable, and welcoming.

⛪ What to Expect

We gather for a traditional, Christ-centered service rooted in the historic liturgy of the Church.
If that’s new to you, don’t worry—you’ll be guided through it step by step.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 What About Kids?

Children are part of our life together.
Families sit together in worship, and you won’t be the only one with little ones.

👕 What Should I Wear?

You’ll see a range—from more dressed up to more casual.
Wear what’s comfortable for you.

🙏 Communion

At Holy Shepherd we practice “close communion.” Any member of an LCMS church, or a church in direct fellowship with the LCMS, may partake of communion. However, everyone is welcome at the communion rail for a personal blessing.

For those not yet familiar with LCMS practices, you are invited to speak with an Elder about taking classes if desired and joining our fellowship.

🌍 In the Beginning…

We believe God created the heavens and the earth in six real, literal days — not ages or symbolic periods, but intentional acts of divine creation.

👫 We also believe that man and woman are uniquely created in the image of God, designed with purpose and dignity — not the result of chance or an evolutionary process.

✨ This truth shapes how we see the world, our identity, and our Creator.

📖 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1

Would you join us in praying for our musicians today?

Each Friday, find a weekly collect to include in your prayers as well as a relevant resource in the comments below. This week, pray for directors of parish music and all who help us sing God's Word.

For sacred musicians, that they may faithfully lead the praises of the ascended Lord among us and so edify the Church of God, let us pray to the Lord: Lord, have mercy.

📖 WHAT IS THE BIBLE?

Not just an ancient book.
Not just human thoughts about God.

It is God’s Word.
Inspired.
True.
Without error.

So what does that mean?

👉 It’s not based on our opinions
👉 It’s not shaped by culture
👉 It doesn’t come from the human heart

It is the foundation for everything we believe and teach.

And at the center of it all is one person:

Jesus Christ.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”
— John 14:6

The Bible exists to lead us to Him—
where truth is found,
where forgiveness is given,
and where life is restored.
