We are an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America congregation in Hasbrouck Heights, Bergen County, NJ. The ministers of Holy Trinity are the people; the pastor is the Rev. This church has occupied the corner of Burton and Hamilton Avenues and celebrated the good news of Jesus since 1920. While the neighborhood around us has changed a bit in these 95+ years, the heart of our message has stayed the

same:

Every living creature is created by God and we are created in God's image. Everyone has a gift from God to be shared with others on this earthly journey of human life. As many of us like to say, we are blessed to be a blessing as we follow Jesus. We invite you to share our blessings in the following ways:

-Join us for worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 or for our informal Family Communion service on the second Sunday of every month at 9:15 a.m. (September to May).

-Breathe in some "spiritual oxygen" at our Taize Evening Prayer service on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.

-Bring your children or grandchildren to Sunday School at 9:15 on Sunday mornings (September to May). Confirmation Class is open to young people in 7th through 9th grades. Please contact Pastor Susan for more information.

-Young people are invited to join us for Saturday Service -- an opportunity for community service about once a month. Please check the calendar on our website for more about our next event.

-Volunteer with SWIM (Single Women in Mission) on their monthly service projects or join our Knit and Crochet group to make prayer shawls, lap robes for shut-ins or just come to learn! Throughout the year, there are also a variety of opportunities to serve the homeless, such as packing bagged lunches and cooking meals. People of all ages are welcome.

-Our popular Women, Wine and the Word group meets on the first or second Friday of the month from October to May -- an opportunity to gather together, share food, a glass of wine and explore God's word with curiosity and delight!

-Our Men's Breakfast fellowship group meets every other month -- sometimes just for breakfast, sometimes we take a field trip! Please check our website or call the church office for more information.
