John wasn’t sharing something he heard from someone else, he was sharing what he personally experienced.

He heard Jesus, saw Jesus, and walked with Jesus. Because of that encounter, he couldn’t keep the good news to himself.

The same is true for us. Our faith isn’t built on stories or traditions; it’s built on a relationship with the living Christ.

And when we experience Him for ourselves, our greatest joy is inviting others into that fellowship too.

“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you…” — 1 John 1:3 📖✨

May we be people who not only know Jesus but share Him with others.

In the final message of our series, God Never Said That, we confront the familiar phrase, “God helps those who help themselves.” While it may sound responsible, the Gospel reminds us that God meets us by grace before we have the strength to fix ourselves. As we walk through God's Word, we will see that our help comes from the Lord, and grace gives us strength to respond. This message is for anyone who has felt stuck, ashamed, tired, or like they needed to get themselves together before coming to God. There is good news: when you feel helpless, overwhelmed, or unable to change on your own, God is there extending His grace to you "When You Can’t Fix Yourself."

You don’t have to pretend you’re strong all the time. 🙏🏾

Some of us were taught that weakness means failure. But Scripture shows us something different: God’s strength works best in weakness.

If we keep pretending we don’t have weak places, we may miss the place where God wants to show us His strength. 🙌🏾
