Powerful time of prayer and thanksgiving at today’s Chicagoland United in Prayer monthly meeting at St. Luke Church of God in Christ. Where our good friend, Roy Patterson has been serving as interim pastor. My (Cheryl) husband’s grandfather & grandmother, Elder Cornelius & Magnolia Armstrong were longtime members of this church ⛪️ over 50 years ago (when the late Bishop James Austin was a little boy)! 😇🙏🏾❤️

Thank you to all those who came out to join us on Sunday for our Spring Pray Chicago Southland event. We had a blessed time of prayer and worship with believers from all across Chicago Southland and Northwest Indiana region. Our Fall event is already scheduled and this will be one that you won't want to miss. Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 4th at First Christian Church of Lansing!

We ended Sunday’s Pray Chicago Southland Spring prayer gathering with this song: “ Behold Our God!” I was too caught up in the beauty of the moment to record it, but this version does it Justice. Christians from all over the south suburbs and northwest Indiana sang this hymn together as we ended our time of prayer. Glorious!
