Faith Presbyterian Church is hosting a joint worship service this Sunday (June 14) with other Presbyterian churches in the Greater NOLA area. Faith Presbyterian Church is located at 2525 Apollo Ave., Harvey, LA 70058. The service begins at 10:45am. There will be a time of fellowship following the service, and folks who wish are invited to bring finger foods to share. Childcare will be available.

Also note that Faith Presbyterian Church is holding a Food Drive this summer for Second Harvest Food Bank. Donations of non-perishable food can be brought to worship on June 14th.

Today is GiveNOLA Day (May 5th). So far, $1,750 has been given by 21 donors for Be Well-Come Together. We are exactly half-way to our goal of raising $3,500 today. We invite all our friends and faith family to support this outreach ministry of our church. We appreciate all those who have given so far. It's not too late to make a donation. GiveNOLA Day is May 5th, but early giving has started! Faith Presbyterian Church is inviting all our friends to give to Be Well-Come Together during GiveNOLA Day's online giving, which is sponsored by the Greater New Orleans Foundation. Be Well-Come Together was started by Faith Presbyterian Church and is a new worshipping community in the Presbytery of South Louisiana. For 9 years, it has been impacting the lives of our neighbors in Harvey, LA. Be Well-Come Together offers free programs to support the spiritual, physical, and emotional wellness of those living in Harvey, LA and surrounding area. Harvey is a community where the poverty rate is 42% higher than the national average and 15% of the population under age 65 is without health insurance. Your donation will support health and nutrition programs, Soul Food meals, free exercise classes, free CPR/first aid trainings, financial wellness workshops, and so much more! All contributions of $10 or more will be amplified on May 5th by funds from the Greater New Orleans Foundation. Help us meet our goal of raising $3,500 (about 16% of the annual budget).
