VBS Dress up days announced!

Make plans for your child to join us June 7-11 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm as we learn about the life of David.

In a world filled with worry and confusion, kids need to know there is a God who cares for them. At Capshaw's VBS, kids will discover the life of the shepherd-king David and will learn how to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd.

This VBS is for children entering Kindergarten through completed 6th grade.

THIS Sunday, March 9, will be our Family Worship Sunday.

We will NOT have Rocket City Worship for K-3, so parents should plan to pick their child up after small group to Worship together as family.

Sunday, September 29 is our Family Worship Sunday! There will be no Rocket City Worship and parents should plan to pick up their children from small group and worship together in the Worship Center.

We had a great kickoff to our Wednesday nights last week and the fun continues this week!

Our K-3 Graders are in the NEW TESTAMENT this semester.

Their lessons each week include:
* The Prophecies of the Old Testament
* We Can Trust the New Testament
* The Gospel
* Angelic Announcements (Birth of Christ)
* Jesus' Parents
* Christ Is Born
* Seeking the King
* Jesus Obeys
* John the Baptist Prepares the Way

Our 4-6 Graders will be learning the answers to the following questions this semester:
* Who is ultimately in charge of everything?
* How does Satan respond to God's authority?
* How did Jesus respond to God's authority?
* Who will acknowledge Jesus' authority?
* How should we respond to biblical truth and authority?
* Who is the authority over the church?
* Who has authority in the church?
* Why should Christian submit to government leaders?
* What is a Christian's responsibility to the government and its leaders?
* How do leaders know what to do?
* When authorities clash, what should take priority?
* How should a Christian leader use authority?

It's going to be a great semester of learning and fun! Make sure your kiddo joins us each week in the Family Life Center from 6:30 to 7:30 to GROW in GOD'S WORD!
