What happens when God’s answer doesn’t match the plan we had?
David wanted to build a house for God. When God redirected him, David sat before the Lord in prayer. He remembered God’s faithfulness and responded with humility, worship, confidence, and gratitude.
We can bring our disappointment honestly before God and trust Him with what comes next. His promise in Jesus gives us a reason to keep trusting, even while we wait.
What’s one plan you need to bring before God this week?

We love you, Pastor Derrick, Pastor Amanda, and Pastor Avie! ❤️
This Pastor Appreciation Month, we’re grateful for the people who give so much of their hearts to our Impact family.
Thank you for teaching us, caring for us, and helping us take our next steps with Jesus. Your ministry reaches far beyond Sunday morning, and we’re thankful for the time and love you give, even in the moments most of us never see.
Each of you brings something special to this church family. We’re grateful we get to grow alongside you, serve with you, and call you our pastors.
Impact, let’s show them some love! Share a word of encouragement or a way one of our pastors has made a difference in your life below. 🤍
