We pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice secured freedoms that many enjoy today, and we remain deeply grateful for their courage, devotion, and selflessness. Jesus said: "๐๐ง๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐ก๐ค๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐จ ๐ฃ๐ค ๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐๐๐จ: ๐ฉ๐ค ๐ก๐๐ฎ ๐๐ค๐ฌ๐ฃ ๐ค๐ฃ๐โ๐จ ๐ก๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ค๐ฃ๐โ๐จ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐๐จ."
This powerful reminder points us not only to those who gave their lives for our country, but also to the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for the salvation of ALL mankind.
At Sardis Baptist Church, we remember the fallen. We pray for their families, for those who continue to serve, and for our nation. Above all, we thank God for His grace and for the love of Christ that was demonstrated on the cross.
This Memorial Day, may we remember the fallen, worship the Savior, and give thanks for the sacrifices that have shaped our freedomโboth earthly and eternal.
