Help is always available!

Somebody reading this needs to hear this today:

You can love Jesus and still be struggling.

You can go to church and still have anxiety.
You can worship and still carry anger.
You can pray and still battle addiction.
You can love your family and still struggle with control.
You can have faith and still be carrying wounds from years ago.
You can look completely put together on the outside while falling apart inside.

That doesn’t make you a bad Christian.

It makes you human… and you don’t have to keep hiding.

Celebrate Recovery isn’t just for addiction.

It’s for hurts.
It’s for habits.
It’s for hang-ups.
It’s for the things we keep saying we’re “fine” about when we know we’re not.

There are Celebrate Recovery groups all over, filled with ordinary people learning how to stop hiding, start healing, and find freedom through Jesus Christ.

Maybe you’ve scrolled past these Celebrate Recovery posts a hundred times.

Maybe today you were supposed to stop.

❤️ You don’t have to be at rock bottom to reach for freedom.

Have you ever noticed how often you say, “I’m sorry” for things that don’t actually require an apology?

“I’m sorry” for needing help.
“I’m sorry” for saying no.
“I’m sorry” for having feelings.
“I’m sorry” for taking up someone’s time.
“I’m sorry” for setting a boundary.
“I’m sorry” for simply taking up space.

Over-apologizing can become a habit… and sometimes it’s rooted in something much deeper.

Maybe you learned to keep the peace at all costs. Maybe you’re afraid of disappointing people. Maybe rejection taught you that everyone else’s feelings are your responsibility.

There is a difference between taking responsibility when we’ve done something wrong and constantly apologizing for being human.

Recovery teaches us to own what belongs to us… and stop carrying what doesn’t.

You don’t have to apologize for having boundaries.
You don’t have to apologize for needing rest.
You don’t have to apologize for saying no.
You don’t have to apologize for healing.
And you certainly don’t have to apologize for becoming the person God is calling you to be.

Sometimes recovery sounds less like “I’m sorry” and more like “I’m learning.”

Did you know ABANDONMENT can be a hurt?

Being left doesn’t always mean someone physically walked away.

Maybe someone you trusted stopped showing up.
Maybe a parent wasn’t there when you needed them.
Maybe a relationship ended without answers.
Maybe someone chose something… or someone… over you.

Abandonment can leave behind a fear that whispers, “Everyone I love eventually leaves.”

And without realizing it, that hurt can affect the way we trust, love, attach to people, and even the walls we build to protect ourselves.

At Celebrate Recovery, we don’t have to pretend those wounds didn’t hurt. We can bring them into the light and allow God to begin healing what we’ve carried for far too long.

People may have left you… but God never did. ❤️

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

What if the things you learned to do to survive childhood are still showing up in your life today?

Always keeping the peace.
Walking on eggshells.
Taking care of everyone else.
Trying to get everything right.

Sometimes what we thought was “normal” was actually a way of surviving.

The good news? You don’t have to stay stuck in those patterns. Hope, healing, and freedom are possible.

Could this be part of your story?
