We give our Ministry Development Director, Courtney, grief all the time about how badly she parks. She claims that this is a part of the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit that hasn’t quite taken hold of her yet…
But there a lesson in this picture. How often are we like this in our lives, getting right to the edge of what is acceptable in a life of obedience to God? It doesn’t matter than whoever parks next to this car is going to have a difficult time getting out- the wheel is technically not over the line.
The difference between right and wrong isn’t difficult. It’s the difference between right and not quite right that is dangerous.
Our prayer today is that we all understand the truth of Matthew 7:13-14 and park between the, according to Courtney, very narrow lines of our parking spot in Jesus.
