2 Chronicles 36:15-16 NASB2020

[15] Yet the Lord, the God of their fathers, sent word to them again and again by His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place; [16] but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose against His people, until there was no remedy.

They continually mocked, despised and scoffed until there was no remedy.

There's no cure for wrath once the only cure has been rejected for the last time!

The Holy Spirit is Our Counselor but many times His counsel will come through others. Why? Are we not hearing, have we heard and ignored or have we heard incorrectly?

I don't want to have spiritual ears and not hear what God is saying!

Greek Word (Parakletos): The original Greek word means "one called to the side of another". It is translated in various Bible versions as Counselor, Helper, Advocate, or Comforter.

Lord, help us not to isolate and avoid who you may have called to our side!
