Today's sermon was titled "Paid in Full". It was based on Isaiah 53:3-6, Hebrews 10:12-14 and other supporting scriptures. In the Old Testament the Priest would yearly on the day of atonement sprinkle the blood of goats and calves, or goats and bulls for the sins of the people. Christ paid humanity's sin debt by shedding his blood on the cross of calvary, dying and resurrecting on the third day. Jesus Christ paid the debt for all of our sins. For those that know the Lord as their personal Savior, there is no need to keep looking back over past sins. God has removed our transgressions as far as east is to west and remembers them no more. We must keep walking by faith and not by sight. We must be able to forgive one another, so God can forgive us. We thank God for his Grace and Mercy. The New Covenant could not take place until the death of Jesus. Now because of his death and resurrection we may receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Today's sermon was titled "No Condemnation". It was based on Amos 5:21-24 and Romans 8:1-3 among other scriptures. Condemnation is the act of declaring someone guilty and subject to punishment in the biblical realm. This is linked with God's grace, love and holiness, despite the sinfulness of individuals, and the saving grace of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ paid the price for our redemption when he made the ultimate sacrifice for his life for our lives. The key part in Romans 8:1 is "them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit". We need to be rooted and grounded in the word of God and imitate the life of Christ in our Christian journey. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. None of us are perfect. We have been redeemed by the blood of the lamb in Jesus Christ.

Today's sermon was titled "Remember". It was based on Joel 2:28-31 and Acts 2:1-5 with other supporting scriptures. Today is Pentecost Sunday and tomorrow is Memorial Day. We thank God for the sacrifices of the service men, women and civilians that have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms that we enjoy. We thank God for Jesus Christ who shed his blood on the cross to save us from our sins.

We must remember over 2,000 years ago, when the gift of the Holy Ghost was given to those early Christians. We must remember that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit, convicted by the Holy Spirit, and admonished by the Holy Spirit to do God's will. Pentecost is the beginning of the church. We must realize that the church is the people, not necessarily the building itself. They were on one accord on the day of Pentecost. We should strive to be on one accord to serve God in this world. We should realize that this is not our home. We are just passing through. God has a place prepared for us eternal in heaven, not made with hands.

Sister Brenda Mahan spoke today on "God's Redemption At Christs' Expense" (GRACE). Some of the scriptures used were Romans 3:24, Psalm 84:1, 1Peter 4:10 and other scriptures. Brenda provided us the definition of Grace, which is God's unmerited favor toward us, something that we really do not deserve. A definition of God was provided of who He is and what He does for us. A definition of Jesus was also provided for those that don't know who Jesus is. This message from God will help us to be thankful for God's Grace and His Mercy. It is by His Grace and His Mercy that we are still here today.

Today's sermon was titled "From Bitterness to Rejoicing". It was based on Ruth 1:1-5, Ephesians 6:2 and other supporting scriptures. Naomi lost her husband and two sons and she was bitter towards God. She was kind to both of her daughters-in-law and wanted them to go back to their mother and homeland of Moab. Ruth clung to Naomi, and wanted Naomi's God. Naomi was more of a mother than a mother-in-law to Ruth and Orpah. Orpah went back to her homeland. Boaz became the kinsman redeemer of Naomi's husband (Elimelech) and bought Elimelech's parcel of land and married Ruth. Ruth had a child named Obed, who became the grandfather of king David, which is in the genealogical line of Jesus Christ. This story is about love. This story starts with funerals and ends with a wedding. Naomi was broken and came out complete. She was bitter but came out rejoicing. We praise God in the good days and the bad days.

Today's sermon was titled "Changed from the Inside Out". It was based on Proverbs 28:13, Luke 19:1-10 along with other supporting scriptures. Zaccheaus, the chief publican sought to see Jesus. Zaccheaus climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus, since Zaccheaus was small in stature. Jesus called him by name. Jesus visited Zaccheaus at his house. Zaccheaus repented of any wrong that he may have done and he experienced salvation for himself and his household. When we repent, we have to make a complete turnaround. We may fool others, but we can't fool God.

Today's sermon was titled "It is I; Don't Be Afraid". It was based on Psalm 27:1 and Matthew 14:22-27 along with other scriptures. Peter was doing fine walking on water until he took his eyes off Jesus and felt he was sinking. He asked Jesus to save him. We need to keep our minds and hearts fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. God will give us what we need in our time of need. We need not to fear anyone, or anything but God.

We thank God, The Holy Spirit and everyone that came out and supported our revival. We are especially thankful for Julia, Brenda, Evaunder, Steve, Elmer, Edward, Stanley and Larry that worked to make our revival a success.

Tonight was the first night of our revival. We experienced the working of The Holy Spirit evidenced by the preaching of Minister Hugh Smith. He preached with a focus on "Love" which is what the world needs more of. Brother Steve Naylor started off with some wonderful singing of some of our favorite hymns. Stanley did a great job of playing some hymns. Minister Miranda Smith did a great job singing and playing "There Is A Fountain" Our ladies of the church did a great job of preparing and setting up the finger food. We thank Julia, Brenda, Evaunder, Stanley and everyone else that provided great food for our first night and everyone that showed up tonight. We had a great time in the Lord. We look forward to some more powerful preaching tomorrow evening with light finger food at 5:30 pm followed by the start of our revival at 6:30 pm. Everyone is invited.

Today's sermon was titled "Overcoming Trouble". It was based on Psalm 46:1-2 and John 16:33. Jesus tells the disciples in Chapter 16 of John that the Holy Spirit will come as a Comforter to them. The disciples were sorrowful for knowing that Jesus would leave them. Jesus told them that we will have trouble in this world, but he has overcome trouble. This applies to us as well. We must pray without ceasing, hide the word of God in our hearts, have strong faith, and trust God in everything.
