Jesus wasn’t nailed to the Cross BY our sins! He volunteered to be nailed there… FOR our sins. Jesus freely offered His life in exchange for yours and mine; because He wanted to FREE us from our sins.

As Christians there can be no quit, we must finish the race … the race marked out for us. Christ did not die on the Agony of the cross for you to quit the race,

He sends you and me out… to endure to the End, to Finish the Race, for however long and hard the Road.

There’s nothing like having absolute trust and confidence in God. Waking up each morning knowing that... The Sovereign God of the universe... Is in control - That we are His children - And because of His love for us...

HE is causing all things... ALL things... to work out... to our ultimate good... to our benefit... our betterment... to our advantage.

Would you have liked to have slipped into earshot of Jesus as He personally prayed? Perhaps this is just what happened in Luke chapter eleven. As the disciples listened, they were awestricken, so they ask Him... "Lord, teach us to pray." So, we have what we call the Lord’s Prayer. It’s really Jesus’ model prayer for us.

Coming this Sunday morning. We will examine this model and see what we can learn from our Master and Savior about prayer.

Coming this Sunday morning at the Hartsville Church of Christ. When God asked, “Why Did Sarah laugh?” He’s not rebuking her for unbelief. This was His way of challenging her. God knows she’s been listening in and understands she’s struggling with her faith, so He acknowledges the conflict in her mind. He says “You laughed” but then He says something that Sarah needs to hear... Something we ALL need to hear in this day and age: “Is anything too hard for the LORD?”
