This Sunday, July 12, 2026, the members will be going to attend Liturgy together at Saints George and Alexandra in Fort Smith. For this reason there will be no Reader’s Service held this weekend.

Many thanks to Father Ignatious and his daughter Elena for traveling all the way from Texas to lead such beautiful and inspiring services this April 20 and 21, 2026. Many thanks also to Father Alexis coming from Arkansas to help with this pilgrimage celebrating Saint Tikhon. Every service and the blessing of the graves was very meaningful to all and was a true blessing to the members of the parish. The opportunity to share the beauty of orthodoxy with students and their professor from Eastern Oklahoma State junior college and members of the community as well as guests from out of town is another illuminated page in the long and beautiful history of our church. Vesso traveled all the way from Oklahoma City to attend as well as local church members, including the Devore family (Kathy, River, Eli and Josh) Greg Menges, Jim Kurilko, Nikki and baby Alena with Baba, Teresa Wright and representing the Skimbo family were Monica Brown, Joe Pete, Jami and Mason. Apologies if any names are misspelled or anyone left off - please send a message so I can correct any errors. Also a special blessing was being able to share the service live with member Mike Zozula (living abroad) and others while our internet connection was stable at least.

We had a lovely clean up crew today, April 18, 2026 preparing for our special pilgrimage events on April 20 and 21, 2026. Love that mellow gleam of a freshly cleaned and waxed church.
