Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice reminds us of the words in John 15:13:
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

We give thanks for their courage, hold grieving families close in prayer, and reflect on the freedoms their sacrifice helped protect. May their selflessness never be forgotten. 🤍

This mural inside our Methodist Children's Behavioral Hospital in Maumelle is more than encouraging words on a wall. It serves as a reminder for the children and families we serve every day that mental health is not about pretending everything is okay or forcing yourself to stay positive all the time. Real strength comes from learning how to face difficult emotions, talk about them openly, and move through them in healthy ways.

Being "tough" can look like asking for help.
It can look like expressing your feelings.
It can look like continuing forward one day at a time.

At Methodist Family Health, we want every child to know that hard moments do not define them and they don't have to face those moments alone.

“Holy Father, protect them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one, as we are one.” — John 17:11

Christ’s prayer reminds us that we are called into a deeper kind of community—one rooted in love, grace, and shared belonging in God.
