Through scripture, prayer, music, and reflection, we’ll explore how even life’s interruptions can become invitations into deeper grace, courage, and transformation.

This Sunday is also Food Pantry Sunday! We invite you to bring non-perishable food items to help support the Hartland Food Pantry as we care for our neighbors together. After worship, stay for fellowship and conversation — there’s always a place for you at the table.

We will also celebrate Communion together. At First Congregational Church, ALL are welcome at God’s table — no matter who you are, where you come from, or where you are on life’s journey.

On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember and give thanks for all those who sacrificed their lives in service to our country.
We honor their courage, their humanity, and the love that led them to serve others beyond themselves.
Hold in your care the families who continue to carry grief and remembrance, and move us ever closer to the day when peace is not merely hoped for, but fully realized among all nations and peoples.

It’s Ascension Sunday!

Why do we spend so much of life “looking up” — searching for certainty, success, answers, or escape — while missing the sacred moments right in front of us?

This Sunday we explore the story of Jesus’ ascension through Acts 1:1–11 and Luke 24:44–53, discovering that Ascension isn’t really about Jesus leaving… it’s about Christ’s presence expanding and the church being called to live with courage, hope, and purpose in the world.

Together we’ll reflect on:
Letting go of what weighs us down
Trusting God in uncertain “in-between” moments
Becoming witnesses of love and hope
Preparing our hearts for Pentecost

We’ll also celebrate and welcome new members into the life of our church family!
