We are so excited to announce this drive to the Trinity community.
Many folks experiencing homelessness do not have access to proper menstrual products, leaving them at risk of heightened discomfort, shame, and serious infection. Period poverty is an on-going, overlooked, and global public health crisis. During our drive, we hope to post articles and resources for education and awareness of this issue.
Participation in drives like this and consideration of menstrual hygiene when regularly donating to shelters or offering to help people who are homeless—are of the utmost importance.
Donations of any amount are valuable! All donations are going to two great local organizations, My Sisters’ Place and Mercy Housing. And we are so proud to say the following and amazing on-campus organizations are partnering with us on this initiative: .c.b.w.o 🤍
