Today, St. Monica’s hosted the Reverend Absalom Jones Service with the RHJR Ministry Network and the Hartford Chapter of the Union of Black Episcopalians! The Right Reverend Laura J.Ahrens, D.Min.
Bishop Suffragan was the Celebrant and The Reverend D. Littlepage, Canon for Mission Advocacy, Racial Justice &
Reconciliation, was our preacher. She brought a prophetic and timely word for the work that we must continue to engage in as the people of God in our time, in ECCT, and the Episcopal Church more broadly. It’s time for us to bravely enter into those difficult conversations without fear!
