You're invited to: "Singing in a Strange Land: Learning from Myanmar Immigrants” (Psalm 137:1-4), a free webinar on Wednesday, August 30 at 10:00 am Eastern Time

Join a Hospitality Initiative to build capacity among immigrants and third country partners. Pinnacle Leadership Associates will offer a free webinar to encourage churches to engage with immigrants, especially those from Myanmar.

Panelists will include Dr. Rev. Lai Uk Thang, pastor of Chin Bethel Church of Houston; Dr. Yaw Han, Kachin leader; Rev. As my daughter, Rachael Lawrence Fisher has stated: So proud that my denomination is supporting US action aimed at restoring civil government in Burma/Myanmar. There's not a lot of press coverage of the Russian/PRK-supported military government and its mistreatment of ethnic/religious minorities, but many within ABCUSA, International Ministries, and ABHMS (my employer) have been actively working to shine a light on this long-going humanitarian crisis.
