A Sunday full of worship, joy, thanks, art, and community! During worship, we honored our volunteer Sunday School teachers, blessed our graduating high school and college seniors, and our rising third graders received their Bibles. Artist-in-residence Darby Finn is helping us celebrate our 175th this year and led our teens in a special art installation called “From Generation to Generation” (designed by Sanctified Art). After our end-of-year Sunday School Picnic, we headed up Capitol Avenue to CapFest in Frog Hollow to share information about our FPC family and the upcoming Strawberry Celebration. A busy and joyful Sunday!

Taking a group photo on Pentecost has become a wonderful FPCH tradition. Swipe for a spontaneous song while waiting for the kids to come join the lineup! Thank you again to everyone for wearing red, and for filling the sanctuary with color and bringing the joy of Pentecost to life.

Many thanks to the Worship Arts and Music Team (WAM), who worked on the artistic installation for Pentecost Sunday.

Their creativity, vision, and many hands helped transform our sanctuary into a beautiful expression of the Spirit’s movement, inviting us more deeply into worship and celebration. And thank you to everyone who wore red, filling the sanctuary with color and helping bring the joy and fire of Pentecost to life.
