I have finally gotten around to posting our Sabbat dates for 2025.

Cold weather Sabbats are held at the Unitarian Society of Hartford: 50 Bloomfield Ave, Hartford. These include Imbolc, Ostara, Samhain, and Yule.

Warm weather Sabbats are usually held at various members' homes in the grewater Hartford area. These include Beltaine, Litha, Lughnassadh, and Mabon.

All are welcome who come with an open and loving heart!

For those considering attending Samhain on Saturday there has been a change of venue due to the inclement weather. We will meet at the Unitarian Society of Hartford located at 50 Bloomfield Avenue. There is a nice large meeting room downstairs with a kitchen to accommodate the group with plenty of parking. We hope to see you on Saturday starting at 5:00pm. Thanks and blessed be!

Hi Everyone;
One of our Circle-member's (John, the one with the yummy baked goodies) brother in law, his wife, three sons(one of which was born only a few months ago), and daughter had a house fire this morning and lost everything. We're reaching out to our Circle friends and asking if anyone has spare clothes, blankets, toys, etcetera to help them out. I know things are very rough, especially bc with covid right now, but we'd like to do all we can to help them out.

Message us, and we'll work out a way to collect whatever can be offered.

Hi all, this is Dawn posting
This is my altar today.
I have a sea shell painted with signs for spring and for blessings, filled with water and sitting on another shell filled with crystals for healing, strength, purification, and clarity.
A dark blue chime candle for medical healing, and protection for friends and family. Also the color of deep water, strong, flowing, and purifying. Today's USH service was about Water. (https://www.ushartford.com/)
A yellow candle, for joy. The color of sunshine, which we should all be enjoying as much as possible. And remembering and considering everything in our lives which brings us joy and hope in this difficult time.
Finally, a green candle, for prosperity, and the anticipation of fresh spring renewal.
May we all seek renewal, in our faith, in our hearts, in our minds, and in our souls.

Hi Everyone;
The USH, where we have our Ostara celebration scheduled, has cancelled all meetings and services until some time in mid-April.
Twilight Fire is following the lead of the USH, and of health experts across Connecticut and the Nation, and is cancelling our Ostara celebration.
We encourage each of you to spend time outside in your yard getting as much sunshine as possible (it's good for you, and it's antibacterial! :) ) and celebrate Ostara at home.

If you have food coloring and white vinegar, you can color eggs.

We ask that everyone do whatever work they can, both physically and spiritually, to limit and stop the spread of this virus, boost immunities, and encourage healthy behaviors.
