St. Leo's Catholic Church

St. Leo's Catholic Church Supposedly the oldest Catholic Church West of the Mississippi in continuous operation without ever having a resident priest, St. Come worship with us!

Leo's was established in 1901 for the Italian Catholic coal miners in the Hartford area. Rosary starts at 11:00 followed by Mass at 11:30 on Sunday mornings!

10th Anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood
A Mass of Thanksgiving will be celebrated for Fr. Joseph's 10th year anniversary to the priesthood on Saturday, May 23rd, the Vigil of Pentecost, at 4 PM. There will be a catered meal and pot luck deserts to follow. Fr. Joseph wishes to express his gratitude to all who have prayed for him in his ministries to St. Leo Catholic Church in Hartford, St. Scholastica Monastery, Mercy Crest Assisted Living Facility, Mercy Hospital, and the Pope St. Pius XII Knights of Columbus Council 996 of the River Valley. Kindly RSVP by May 18 to 479-652-6454.
