We’re excited to introduce the host of Divine Threads: The Fashion Awakening — Amyah Rosado!

Amyah is a proud member of the Unleashed Young Adults Ministry and a Senior at Norfolk State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Psychology.

Her leadership extends beyond the classroom as:
President of Sister Circle (2026–2027)
Business Manager for the NAACP NSU Chapter (2026–2027)

With her passion for people, leadership, and community, Amyah is ready to help bring this year’s runway experience to life.

Last Friday, we had honest conversations about friendship, seasons, boundaries, and the people God places in our lives.

One takeaway that stood out: we are the casting directors of our life’s movie. Not everyone is meant to have a leading role, and that’s okay. Some friendships are for a season, some are lifelong, and each one has a purpose.

LOVE AFTER VALENTINE’S 💌

“If we don’t know love, we don’t know God.”
— 1 John 4:8

✨ Be on guard
✨ Stand firm in faith
✨ Be courageous
✨ Be strong

There will be moments when people test us, the world pressures us, and fear tries to move us. In those moments we must ask ourselves:

→ Am I guarding my heart from doubt, discouragement, or misuse of my love?
→ Does my response reflect faith in God’s will?
→ Have I allowed fear to take power over what God says?

Love is not easy. But after everything is gone, love remains (1 Corinthians 13:8). And if we have love, we have God — but we must do it His way.

May the Lord bless you, keep you, and let His word shine a light on your path. 🫶🏽
