💙🌱 Pondtown Kids Club Children's Church 🌱💙
This morning in Children's Church was full of smiles, worship, and learning about Jesus!
As part of our lesson on how Jesus helps us grow, we talked about growing in faith, love, kindness, and service to others. During worship, one sweet little girl lifted her hands high when we sang "Hallelujah." It was such a precious reminder that children can have a genuine love for Jesus and aren't afraid to praise Him.
We also spent time preparing for Father's Day, making special gifts and coloring pictures. Some of the artwork will be shared with our elderly and sick church members to encourage them and let them know they are loved and remembered.
After everyone had gone home, I looked around the classroom and saw markers, colored pencils, papers, and chairs pushed back from the table. It made me smile. To some it may have looked like a mess, but to me it was evidence of little hearts learning about Jesus, serving others, and having fun while doing it.
Moments like these remind me why Children's Church is so important. God is working in the hearts of these children, and it is a blessing to watch them grow.
