The Truth of Christmas
CHRISTMAS AND SATURN
The origin of Christmas is not Christian at all. The origin of Christmas is pagan. The first time we can hear about Christmas celebrated on December 25 (as we know it today) arose almost two centuries after the birth of Christ, so even after the birth of the baby Jesus, Christmas continued to be celebrated around the figure of Saturn. That the Romans established.
The Romans celebrated the Roman Saturnalia, which was nothing more than a festival that represented the winter solstice and honored the god Saturn. During this festival, the Romans riot, and therefore the few Christians there were at that time opposed these uncontrolled celebrations. In this way, it is said that Christmas arose to replace the celebration of Saturn, king of the Sun, which in English is "Sun", so it was taken as the birth of the son of God, which in English is "son". . Later, when the Christian religion was imposed throughout the Roman Empire, King Justinian declared Christmas a civic holiday, although this composure did not last long, since in the Middle Ages the Christmas holidays became days of drinking and partying. From morning to night.
If we look at ancient customs, it may seem very strange to celebrate someone's birth since, in the first centuries of the Christian Church, the death of important people was celebrated, not their births.
We also have to look at the following quote to realize that this holiday is not accepted in the Bible. For they honor me in vain, teaching the commandments of men as doctrines” (Matt. 15:9). Christmas is not a commandment from God, it is a tradition of men. Christ continued: “Well, do you invalidate the commandment of God to keep your tradition? (Mark 7:9)
THE PAGAN ORIGIN
The Saturnalia was celebrated when the sun was lower in the sky and thus the days became longer. That symbolized growth. During this time Saturn, god of the sun and fire, was honored. It was also related to agriculture since he needed the sun to be able to sow and for the crops to grow. The winter festival called this Sun God to return and the crops to continue to grow.
The planet Saturn is also named after this God since its rings and the color red marked this association.
In the rest of civilizations and cultures, this God of fire and the Sun also existed. In Egypt they called him Vulcan, the Greeks called him Cronos, the Babylonians Tammuz (or Ni**od when he is resurrected in his son), and Moloch or Baal for the druids. For them, all these gods were Ni**od, considered the father of the Babylonian gods.
Saturn was also considered a child eater because, being the father of the gods, he must have had a blameless character. Bearing the name Cronos tells the story that he devoured his children when they were born.
If you wonder why they considered it necessary to sacrifice children to worship this god, it is simply because they believed in a fire as something divine that cleansed the sins and defects that were transmitted from generation to generation, so children had to be burned. to eliminate these genetics.
SANTA CLAUS
Although in modern times we refer to Santa Claus as Saint Nicholas, in an earlier age, Santa was the name of the god Ni**od in Asia Minor. If we think about it a bit, we will see that the center of Christmas, in all its stages, has always been carried out by children. During Roman times, gifts were given to children and the poor; and the druids sacrificed their children to the god they worshiped on these dates. Likewise, Ni**od or the past Santa devoured children and, today distributes gifts to them.
Likewise, we must also analyze the figure of Saint Nicholas, which comes from a character called "jolly Nick" or "old Nick". If we focus on his name, Nick comes from Nikos which means "builder and destroyer", while "Laos" means people. The Nicolaitanes (followers of Saint Nicholas) are then defined as "the people who follow the destroyer", which is still, again, Ni**od
THE CHRISTMAS GIFTS
The origin of this Christmas custom dates back to the Romans when, at Saturnalia, they also exchanged gifts among themselves. And as you already guessed, no, this is not a tradition related to Christianity either. Obviously, during these dates, we do not make offerings to God, but we make them to ourselves in the form of gifts, completely forgetting about the figure of Christ. In fact, according to the Bible, birthdays should not be celebrated either, because they are being, in the same way, selfish to God who gave birth to the human being.
As the Bible indicates, at the moment that the Magi of the Times offered gifts to the child YAHSHUA.
When Yeshua was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, some wise men came from the east to Jerusalem, saying: Where is the king of the Jews who have been born?... And when they entered the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and prostrating themselves, they adored him; Opening his treasures, they offered him presents: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. (Matthew 2,1-11) In this way, we realize that the customs and celebrations that we carry out at Christmas have nothing to do with a Christian origin and, therefore, it is not a Christian celebration, as is the case with its true origin.
THE BIRTH OF THE CHILD YASHUAH
As we can read in the scriptures, from the descriptions they give us of that day, it is not possible that Christ was born on December 25. The reason given is that the Jews would send their sheep into the deserts around Passover and return when the first rains came, which began in autumn.
When YASHUAH was born the sheep were grazing in the open so October had not yet arrived so it is hard to fit in YASHUAH's birth on December 25th and this had to be late September or early October.
The scriptures that explain the birth of Jesus, (YASHUAH) are collected in Luke and this is how it is told:
In the same region, some shepherds were out in the field, tending their flocks during the watches of the night (Luke 2:8).
But then why do we associate December 25 with Christmas?
During Roman times, Saturnalia was celebrated and everyone exchanged gifts with each other. For this culture, on December 25 the birth of Mithras, the Iranian god of justice, was celebrated. Also on January 1, they celebrated the New Year by decorating their houses with lights and giving gifts to the poor and children. By then they had already acquired other Germanic and Celtic customs such as the Christmas log, the fire tree, and food. These customs were also those of the Christmas Party.
December 25 was not chosen for Christmas because it was the birth of Christ, Mashiaj, but rather it was the best way to replace Saturnalia, a pagan celebration that, when the ecclesiastical world took over, had to be exterminated.
WHY IS IT CELEBRATED ON DECEMBER 25?
The most consistent explanation from historians is that the origin of Christmas was related to a series of decisions made by the high command of the Christian church in the 3rd and 4th centuries. Among them, the motion of Pope Julius I in the year 350 to establish Christmas on December 25 is considered the most decisive. This was decreed 4 years later by Pope Liberio.
From December 17 to January 6 it was Saturnalia. On the first day, public ceremonies were held in honor of Saturn or Baal. On the second day, pigs were offered by tree families, and fires, cedars, and oaks were worshipped.
Almost everything that has to do with Christmas is a lie. Santa Claus does not exist.
The date of December 25 as the date of the birth of Christ does not exist.
The Tree was worshiped and decorated by many ancient pagan groups. In the Bible, at least ten times, the green tree is associated with idolatry and false worship and is prohibited. The druids used holly and mistletoe in their ceremonies. They worshiped the oak. Golden nuts and balls or ornaments symbolize the sun. Evergreen trees were used for decorations (symbols of rebirth and fertility).
The Christmas Log: it is the dead material of Ni**od, deified as the Sun God, but shot down by his enemies. The Christmas tree is Ni**od come to life. Ni**od was so evil, that upon his death, the leaders cut his body into twelve pieces and sent them around the world so that his body could not be recovered and worshipped. It was also a symbol of continued life.
Lights: were used to dispel the growing darkness of the winter solstice. They adorn the idol with silver and gold; with nails and with a hammer they secure it so that it does not move Jer 10:3,4. these customs show how good and evil were mixed and the worship of the true god was contaminated.
Present - So we give a present because Jesus received a gift and we are following this example. So why do we give them to each other? God gave exact instructions to the people for their feasts, celebrations, or sacrifice, including dates and activities. If God wanted us to celebrate his birth or birthday, he would tell us how.
But he did tell us how to remember it, just the scriptures. He said to do this in remembrance of me with the Lord's Supper, in saying that he came. 1 Corinthians 11:24.
Sin in the darkness of the world, Ezekiel 8
1. v5 - Then I raised my eyes to the north, and there, north of the altar door, was this image of jealousy at the entrance.
note: a carved statue or possibly a wall engraving. (Tammuz or Adonis. It was the act of worship of false idols)
2. v10 - So I went in and looked, and there—all kinds of creeping things, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, painted all around on the walls.
notes: v11 and in the midst of them was Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, also known as Azariah (v12 - Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, each one in the room of his idols.
3. Chambers of imagery - The place to meet and practice idolatrous rites. v10 - Crawling things, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel are depicted around on the walls.
4. Mourning for Tammuz - "Tammuz": "...in Mesopotamian religion this is another pagan practice, a very sexual one involving ritual prostitution. god of fertility who embodies the powers for a new life in nature in the spring".
5. Worshiping the sun - v16 - in the inner court of the Temple - "about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple and their faces toward the east, and they worshiped the sun toward the east." This is a kind of pagan dawn service, in which they honor the sun more than God, to whom they scornfully show their behinds.
notes: the elders of the house of Israel do it in the dark, each one in the room of his idols.
In conclusion, idol worship (on Christmas day) is what God said.
Ezekiel 8:18 - Therefore I also will act in anger. My eye will not spare nor will I have mercy; and though they cry out in my ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.
note: Today we've been engaging with the sin of the world, we'll do a few sinful activities in the world. (it is not harmful) and we can call ourselves Christians, go to church, have activities in our churches, and play the role of pastors, ministers, leaders, etc. ..as we take unbelievers (the lost) with us to hell instead of winning them to Jesus. If they hate believers, so-called Jesus Christians. so why do they (the world) celebrate his birthday? Say that it is about the birth of Jesus Christ. If Christmas is celebrated out of real love for Jesus, why then aren't your 10 comments saved? The sad part about this is that billions of people are following the tradition with little to no knowledge of what or where it started, these so-called Christian and pagan holidays.
