It could be anyone you trust: a longtime friend, coworker, relative, pastor, coach, teacher, etc. Promise to call a couple people just in case the first person can’t come to the phone. You could even promise to call the 988 Lifeline! Of course, that person will help you through those dark thoughts, help you see hope for tomorrow, and remind you of all the reasons you have to live!
