Members: Last day to order SRBC shirts!

If you signed up in a physical form but haven’t paid, please give cash or check (be sure to write it to SRBC with “Annie Armstrong Shirts” in the memo)to Aaron Warner or Brett Gant this morning before leaving worship.

A lot of you have expressed your desire to see the order form for the shirts to be online. That is now available!

Please note a couple of things.
1.) if you are ordering for multiple people in your family, you HAVE TO order the individually and please keep the names per order under one name.
Example: if I were ordering for my family, I would fill out the order form 7 different times and each time I ordered I would order a different size but put them under my name. So it would look like
Order 1: Name: Aaron Warner - L
Order 2: Name: Aaron Warner - M
Order 3: Name: Aaron Warner - S
And so on.

This helps keep the orders from together and makes looking up the orders and grouping the by family easiest.

2.) the youth sizes may be a different color than the adult sizes since the youth sizes tend to have a small variety of colors.

3.) if you want to pay cash, you can still do that. If you order online but wrote your name down on the physical form in the sanctuary, please let me know and I’ll scratched your name off the physical form when I see that you’ve filled out the online form.

4.) All Cash or checks can be turned into Brett Gant or Aaron Warner.

What a wonderful Lord’s Day at SRBC! Congratulations to Eastin and the beginning of his new life completely new in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Excited to share that we will be celebrating the work of Christ in Eastin’s life this coming Sunday! We will be baptizing him during corporate worship, and after our time together in worship, we will be celebrating with him over a meal at the FLC.

Many of you enjoyed intentional time this advent season reading a book about the glory of the incarnation of Christ and what it means for believers.

I am a big fan of reflecting and reviewing anything you recently take in because it helps us keep knowledge fresh and keeps the fire of our hearts and spirits kindled toward God.

With that being said: as you ventured through the advent season, and with Christmas Day behind us -

What are some truths you’re really leaning into this coming year? What have you learned through your intentional time each day reflecting on the glory of The Lord that you can carry with you into a new year?

For many it may simply be “the joy of being intentional” as you have learned that just having a plan and knowing you had a reading each day helped you grow closer to God and really focus on Christ this Christmas.

For some it may be “slowing down, pushing the pause button on important-but not urgent tasks like household chores, all so I can enjoy essential disciplines like spending time with The Lord each day.”

Whatever it is for you, don’t let the disciplines you built over the advent season of reading and enjoying God come to an end. LEAN INTO IT! Keep going!

The advent season and your advent readings may be done, but the depths of joy and the riches of truth await you in His Word - The Bible. Don’t wait until New Year’s Day to start. Keep your discipline of reading going today and invite others in your study and walk through the Word today.

Stay encouraged. Stay content. Stay filled with joy.
