Hi friends — I’m Emily Campbell, and I want to introduce you to something incredibly close to my heart: Cobbler’s Closet. 🧡

After walking through infertility, pregnancy loss, and finally welcoming our two sweet boys, Grayson and Silas, my husband Ethan and I also felt called to become foster parents. Our very first placement — a baby girl who arrived with nothing but a onesie and a paci — changed everything for us.

That baby girl? We lovingly called her “Cobbler.” And because of her, this ministry was born.

✨ Cobbler’s Closet is a ministry of Harrodsburg Baptist Church that exists to support foster, kinship, adoptive, and at-risk families in Mercer County and surrounding areas. We provide free clothing, baby gear, and essentials to caregivers stepping into the gap for vulnerable children.

We know firsthand how overwhelming placement day can be — and how powerful it is to be met with practical help. That’s exactly what we hope to provide through Cobbler’s Closet: relief, community, and the love of Christ.

We operate solely on donations, and every single item given or dollar donated goes straight into helping families in need.

💛 That’s a wrap on our 2nd Annual Back to School Event🎒✨

From backpacks and clothes to sweet treats and big smiles, today was all about community showing up for community. We’re so grateful for every volunteer, family, and organization who made this day special!

📚 URGENT NEED: Backpacks for Back-to-School Event Tomorrow! 🎒

Our back-to-school event is happening TOMORROW, and we are running low on backpacks for our students. We want every child to walk in feeling confident and prepared—but we need your help to make that happen!

🎒✨ Back-to-School Just Got Even Better! ✨👗

Cobbler’s Closet is excited to kick off our second annual Back-to-School event, and this year we’re introducing a beautiful new resource just in time for prom season prep — Threads of Grace!

Their mission? To support teen girls who dream of attending prom and other special events but may not have the means to spend hundreds on dresses and accessories. Every girl deserves to feel confident, beautiful, and included — and Threads of Grace is helping make that happen.
