We want to invite you come be with us Tomorrow. In our Bible class continue our discussion on Gospel of John in chapter 3 beginning at verse 18. In our worship will have my next lesson in my series on Conversions concerning the Samaritan’s in Acts 8. Bible study at 9:30 am and morning worship at 10:20 am. We also meet in the evening at 6:30 pm. Please come study and worship with us on Sunday. Also want to wish all fathers a happy Father Day tomorrow.

Let me take this opportunity to invite you to our Bible Study and worship services on Sunday. In our Bible class we will be continuing our discussion of the Gospel of John in chapter 1 at verse 17. Our worship services I will be concluding my Humility series with the lesson— Evaluating Our Spiritual Health. Come with an open Bible and open mind as we study and worship together. Being a preacher of the gospel I’m often involved in comforting families when love ones are lost. Sadly, on Friday we lost a very uplifting and godly man in a tragic accident. Marshall Shadburne was 90 years old and one of the most enjoyable brother to be around. He was a good song leader even at his age and just made singing better with his enthusiasm and love for singing. When younger Christians were finding reasons not to be involved Marshall was looking for ways to encourage others. He was not with us long but he made a lasting impression on our congregation and on this preacher. Sunday will be difficult, Marshall was scheduled to lead our singing. I’ll miss him because he was an encouragement to me and our congregation. Marshall is fine it’s the rest of us that have the difficult road to travel without that wonderful smile and love he so freely shared. May God bless his wife Faye and his children in the days ahead. Another soldier has gone home!
