Sunday Morning

This Sunday morning, we turn to Acts 17 and look at the story of Paul on Mars Hill. He went into a very secular city and there found a way to share the Gospel with those far from God. We will learn how he did it and lessons for us in living for Christ and sharing Him in an increasing secular culture.

Sunday Evening

Sunday evening will be a community wide worship service at Southside Christian Church at 6 PM. This will be a night of hearing about our new community effort to help the needy of Mercer County. “The Mission” is a new faith-based endeavor to help meet the needs of the hurting and disadvantaged. This will be an informative and inspirational night. Everyone is welcome.

Additional Service Starts Next Sunday

Beginning next Sunday morning, June 7, we will be beginning a new, early service starting at 9 AM each Sunday running through August 16. We will continue to offer Sunday School at 10 AM and our regular worship at 11 AM. We are doing this to provide additional opportunities for more people to attend our services during the busy summer months. Both worship services will be nearly identical.

Family Fun Night

Sunday night, June 14 we will have Family Fun Night at Anderson Dean Park from 5-7 PM. This is an evening for the entire family of fun, food and fellowship. Plan now to attend. Sign-up sheets are in the foyer for those planning to attend.
