Happy birthday to As One!
The As One Worship Barn
7 years old today! 🎉🎉🎉

Joe and I drove from our Lexington home to Shaker Village in Harrodsburg Ky for a day date to inquire The Lord about what to name the ministry, that would soon become As One.
While at Shaker Village, we spread out a blanket underneath the big oak tree in the middle of the land and laid under the tree, praying, dreaming and watching the horses running. Under that tree that day, we had a beautiful encounter with The Father, Son and Holy Spirit concerning John 17:21.
“I pray for them all to be joined together as one even as you and I, Father, are joined together as one. I pray for them to become one with us so that the world will recognize that you sent me.”

As we beheld The Lord through John 17:21, we sensed a great call to behold the oneness of The Trinity and invite others to be caught up in their oneness too. We knew after our time under the tree that sacred day, that we were to name the ministry "As One."
Joe "happened" to be reading about the Celtic Christian communities and how they lived and communed. Inspired by God , when we came home from Shaker Village, Joe drew the above sketch and felt it was to be apart of our As One logo; The Celtic Trinity Knot.
This all happened on July 27, 2019
Just 10 days later On August 7 of 2019,
we received a Facebook messenger message from our friend, Andrea, about a dream that she had about a retreat like place that reminded her of something sorta like CAGELESS BIRDS, but in the dream, Joe and I were stewarding it.
A few years later Andrea would be the realtor that helped us find The As One Worship Barn and The Land of His Faithfulness.
I didn't want the day to go by without celebrating 7 years of such a fun adventure with The Triune God!
