Starting on Sunday, September 6th, we will begin our new kids Sunday School classes! We will serve breakfast at 9:45 and classes start at 10:00am. We are going to be following Brite curriculum. Brite is a part of the Awana program.
Brite is a Gospel-centered curriculum that helps kids understand the Bible as one big story rather than a collection of disconnected stories. Kids move chronologically through Scripture and learn how each lesson fits within God’s story of creation, fall, redemption and restoration.
With Brite, kids learn the full story of the Bible, not just Bible stories. Each passage and character gets connected to God’s bigger picture, from Old Testament to New. Plus, every lesson contains a “Find It in the Bible” segment to build kids’ confidence in looking up Scriptures.

In every lesson, the Bible is read, heard, and connected to Jesus in ways kids can understand in their own lives. Leaders are equipped to help kids form a faith built to navigate tough cultural topics.
We want to make disciples who can say:
I belong to God and have a place in His church.
I believe in Jesus as Savior.
I am becoming more like Him through the power of the Holy Spirit.

This month's theme is "Rock Solid" where kids will learn that God never changes!!

VBS STARTS TOMORROW!!!!! (Wednesday 7/29) 6:00 - 8:00
Come out and meet Tango the quetzal who will remind us that God is our Creator!!! We will be having pasta for dinner, playing games, making a craft, singing, and most importantly learning how much God loves us!!!!!!

Here is the menu for next week at VBS!!!

Wednesday 7/29: Pasta with red sauce (with and without meat), alfredo sauce, or plain.

Thursday 7/30: Chicken nuggets, French fries, veggies and cookies

Friday 7/31: Pizza, veggies, and cookies

We will also have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for those children who would like something different.

We can't wait to see you!!!! It starts at 6:00!!!

We are starting to plan for our summer VBS!!! It will be July 29th, 30th, and 31st from 6:00-8:00. All ages are welcome! There is more information on our vbs website. Please join us on Sunday at 1:00 for a Memorial Day service. We will be honoring John Gregonus, Paul Martin, and David McMurdy. Service will be held in the Barkeyville Cemetery.
