Circumstances change. Sometimes they are bad and sometimes good. But the character of God never changes. He is completely independent of our circumstances. Our situations may look bad, but God is never bad. God is good. I may have sickness in my body, but that does not change the fact that God is our healer. Jehovah-Rapha means "the Lord who heals me." The doctor may say my situation is hopeless, but God is faithful. He is strong and mighty. God never lies, He never leaves, and He never fails. Regardless of my situation, I have a reason to praise God, because His character never changes.

God knows you.
He knew you before you were born, he new you at the beginning and all of your days were written in His book.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made...In His image!
He thinks about you all the time! You cannot even begin to count the amount of times that he thinks of you.

In Matthew 11:29-30, Jesus said, "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Doing life with Jesus requires daily discipline to yield longterm results. Many want the harvest, but they don't want to put in the work. (Proverbs 20:4)

#1 Get In The Word. Reading the Bible is not just a "Sunday Thing", it's a daily practice. Dig in to the scripture, Meditate on God's Word, Repeat!
#2 Be Led of the Spirit. Learn to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, and let Him lead you. Don't get distracted.
#3 Faith Is Required. Life with Jesus requires Faith. Be disciplined and trust that God is in control. Receive the Seed (The Word of God) and know that He will Grow It!

The fruit of a life surrendered to God will eventually show in the way a person loves, speaks, forgives, serves, repents, and lives. Christianity was never meant to be a performance or appearance-it is the evidence of transformation.

Jesus didn't say we would know His people by popularity, reputation, or religious image. He said we would know them by their fruit.

And healthy fruit only grows from a life connected to HIm.

We love our Bible's footnotes on this passage....
This particular Pentecost marked a dividing line between the Holy Spirit's occasional presence and temporary empowerment on certain individuals, as seen in the Old Testament, and his continual presence and sustained empowerment NOW available to ALL of God's people! On this particular day, he filled the believers with his presence and remained with them. 🔥🔥
