Deacon Issac Bivins made history as the first Black Mayor of Harrison Ga here in Washington County, breaking barriers and opening doors for future generations.

Deaconess Mattie Bivins made history by serving as first Black female as Mayor pro tem, becoming a trailblazer for women in leadership. Her commitment to service, faith, and community leadership marked a powerful step forward in local history. She has served for 24 years!
