The Greatest and most Spiritually moving revelation I have ever received from the Bible.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, just as the book of Genesis proclaims.
Then God took a portion of clay soil and formed the image of a man. He then breathed into the nostrils of that image and the clay image became a living human being whom He named, Adam: thus laying the foundation for the great Bible Truth: The Spirit (breath of God) Produces Sonship. As in Acts 2:4, John 20:22. And when Jesus had said this, he breathed (same word as Spirit) on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost. Jesus’ own presence within us, by His Spirit, makes His salvation a reality.
Then God took a rib from the side of the man and added more clay and fashioned the body of a woman whom he named Eve. The Lord God placed Adam and Eve in a specially prepared Garden called Eden, which was a paradise. [Genesis chapters 1,2 & 3 ]
Then God gave Adam and Eve instructions, saying, “You may eat of the fruit of all the trees of the garden except that one tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the midst of the Garden; you shall not eat of it nor touch it lest you die. For in the day that you eat the fruit of that one tree, you shall surely die.
But one day, Satan appeared to Eve, using the body of a serpent and told Eve that if she ate the fruit of that one tree in the midst of the garden she would not surely die as God had said. When Eve objected, Satan told her that the reason God did not want them to eat of that fruit was because it would make them smart like God to know good and evil.
Eve tasted the fruit, then ate the fruit. She took some of the fruit to Adam and asked him to eat, explaining to Adam that the serpent had said they would not surely die as God had said. Adam ate of the fruit also.
In the evening of that day, God came to Adam and said, “Why have you eaten of the forbidden fruit.” Adam blamed his wife Eve for offering it to him and explained that Satan had told them that they would not surely die as the Lord God had said.
God (clothed Adam and Eve with the skin of an animal) and put them out of the Garden of paradise, but Adam and Eve did not, “Surely die” as the Lord God had promised. The question is, why did God refuse to carry out his death sentence upon Adam and Eve when they disobeyed his one command. That was the greatest mystery in the Bible until God came to earth in the flesh. Now the mystery is solved.
The answer to that question has puzzled humanity for many years. One day, in fasting and prayer, the Lord Jesus opened my understanding to the scriptures.
Here is the answer to why the Lord God did not keep his promise to execute Adam and Eve on the day they disobeyed his command.
1. God saw that the two humans did not fear or love Him enough to keep his LAW governing their behavior. They put up very little resistance to Satan and Adam put up no resistance to his wife.
2. God’s law which demanded obedience from the two earthlings did not inspire either fear or love enough to cause the two humans to resist the devil’s temptation to disobey their creator.
But God found a way to inspire love enough in the two humans to guarantee they would resist every temptation from Satan and obey God’s law out of a sense of love. God turned from Law to Love as a basis for inspiring faithfulness and obedience in the hearts of human beings.
God decided to take Adam and Eve’s death sentence upon HIMSELF, in the sight of Adam and Eve (as we shall see later) and all mankind and thereby demonstrate His immeasurable love for the guilty pair. This act of Love would inspire in the two humans a will to obey their God’s commands even against the strongest temptation Satan could offer. Later we will discover that there really was an ex*****on in that Garden that day. And we will discover the name of the one who was executed.
So God created a human body like Adam and Eve’s except that God himself lived inside that body in all fullness, and he took the name Jesus the Christ. “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2Co 5:19.” God’s plan worked for all time and for all of humanity.
So God took a human body like yours and mine and in that human body He took the punishment of death, which He himself had assigned to that first pair of sinning humans and now to all human beings, for all have sinned and fallen short of the mercy and forgiveness of God.
Yes Jesus took that sentence of death for sin upon himself. Now that same punishment which He had assigned to all sinners, He has already taken upon Himself, in the sight of all mankind, atop a mountain called Calvary in the land of Palestine, just outside the city of Jerusalem, Israel.
Now we can understand that an ex*****on really did take place in that Garden of Paradise in Genesis. And the apostle John tells us the name of that victim:
Revelation 13:8, Jesus was “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
So today, if you will truly repent of all your sins, then be baptized, buried in water in the one name of Jesus Christ, and praise the Lord Jesus until He baptizes you with His Holy Ghost until you speak in that heavenly language, then you too may partake of the blessing of Sonship, which is produced only by the Baptism of the Holy Ghost given by the Lord Jesus Christ. Praying for all who read this Gospel Message. In Jesus name.
