You can stack bricks right next to each other and even on top of each other but they’re still just a bunch of bricks. A wall is a wall only because those bricks are intentionally joined into something bigger than themselves.

That’s a picture of what church is supposed to be. Not people sitting by each other for an hour, but people actually joined together, belonging to one another.

If all you’ve ever done is show up and go home on Sunday, you haven’t experienced how amazing church can be.

ODBC is not the biggest church, you may not find all the latest trends here. What you will find is something being built that is much more than a pile of bricks or even a great wall.

Come be part of something built by God.

The Apostle Paul had walked with Christ for thirty years. Planted churches, seen miracles, written most of the New Testament.

He wasn't a beginner.

And his prayer was still, "that I may know Him" — because with an infinite Savior, you never arrive, you just go deeper.

The measure of a healthy walk with God isn't the years on the calendar. It's whether you still want more of Him today than you did yesterday.
