Dear Parents,

If you make excuses for your own bad attitudes, argumentative words, or sinful lifestyle…

If grumbling, gossip, and complaining is a habitual part of your life…

If you place sports, job, recreation, or anything else, ahead of your pursuit of God…

please don’t be upset when your children follow in your footsteps.

Let your kids see you clearing the path towards the cross for them in worship, prayer, family time, at work, and at play.

Yes, sometimes parents do all the right things and kids still make the choice to run away from God running through overgrown thorns and brambles trying to make their own way. But even if they turn away for a time, Mom and Dad, keep clearing that path.
