Sometimes the hardest thing to admit is that you need to get back to where you were.
Over the last few months, I've tried to build things my own way. Recover Loud has always been close to my heart, but somewhere along the way I lost sight of the mission God first gave me.
The best season of my life wasn't when I was trying to build a brand or manage social media. It was the 13 months I spent serving God every single day. During that time, I wasn't worried about likes, followers, or trying to make the perfect post. I was simply serving Jesus and loving people.
The truth is, I'm not very good at social media. I tried to do it all myself, and I let it distract me from what really matters.
So today I'm making a change.
I'm stepping back into ministry with a renewed heart. I want my life to be about serving God, serving people, and pointing others to Jesus, not chasing attention online.
If that means posting less and serving more, then that's exactly what I want to do.
Please pray for me as I take this next step. I don't have everything figured out, but I know the One who does.
