Why should I feel bad about sharing how God delivered me from P**N 8 years ago and how badly I want to help other men also be free?

Don’t we see how Saul turned to Paul and how he makes known his former sins?

And how he has been saved from those sins?

How he has victory from those sins?

How he charges Timothy to fight the same fight?

1 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬-‭13‬
“I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent.
But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief,

He shares with Timothy of who he was and how it is that Jesus saves us from our sins!

15-16‬
The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.

God uses us, sinners, to display his patience as an example to those who are going to believe in Jesus.

Because God has forgiven us through Christ- we should be able to forgive ourselves and others for what they have done as well!

Help men to turn away from bitterness and anger towards those who have hurt them in the past so they may be able to be tender hearted and show the love of God to others more effectively!

Chase Cochran grew up right outside Chattanooga, TN. He spent the first eighteen years of his life spiritually dead, without hope, and enslaved to sin. He was first exposed to p**nography at eleven years old. He began to act out sexually at thirteen years old. By the time he graduated high school, he had a reputation for being sexually promiscuous. At the age of eighteen, he called out to God in prayer and was radically transformed into a new life with Christ. After receiving faith, he began his journey to wage war against his former sexual sins. From 18-24 years old, he struggled with sexual bo***ge. His secret life was characterized by an addiction to p**nography. Although he had been changed by the Gospel, he had this major stronghold in his life. Only a few knew about his struggle against sexual sin. He is now thirty-one years old and married with five children. For the past 7 years, he has experienced total freedom from his former sexual bo***ge. His victory has come from discovering the truths of who God is and who he is in Christ. Romans 8:14-17 says you are an adopted child of God. Too many men believe their real identity is based in their sexuality.
