Yesterday Pastor Roger Steiner attended a gathering of area religious leaders, hosted by PA State Representative Brian Rasel. The purpose was to discuss and share ideas on sharing what each congregation does to serve those in need but how we can collectively work together. Such an awesome group of kids. We prepared 47 Laundry Love packets (enough laundry pods and dryer sheets for 470 loads of laundry). Pastor and the children prayed a blessing for those receiving these supplies. These are being donated to Holy Trinity's Community Dinner.

Today we participated in the Red Sand Project pouring red sand in the cracks of the sidewalks. This is a visual to represent the approximate 50,000 people worldwide, trapped in modern slavery and human trafficking, who we miss but are in our communities. During the service, prayers were lifted for rescue, healing, restoration, and justice.

Our Learn &Grow kids learned about being Christ's hands and feet through the lesson of Jesus washing His disciples feet, and Ms Gwen washing their feet and a special scavenger hunt. We then put our lesson into practice and made Personal Hygiene kits for Lutheran World Relief and Smile Kits for Operation Smile. We ended our event with pizza and craft time before heading home to find ways to show His love.
