Vision Statement of Trinity E.C. Church:
As a dynamic church proclaiming the Word of God we purpose to make Disciples of Christ by:
• Providing a climate in which personal spiritual growth and worship occur.
• Encouraging Christians to consecrate themselves to God’s purpose in their lives.
• Equipping believers for effective ministry to reach the Rutherford area and beyond.
• Attracting and leading the unsaved to Jesus.
Gideon Bible Sunday, May 31, 2026 ~ Welcome to worship and Christian fellowship. May you find blessing and strength in your participation here this morning.
Pastor Terry’s Message: “The Personal Work of Evangelism”
Scripture Lesson: John 3:1-16
Purpose Statement: The church has lost most of its zeal for soul winning! Gibbon, the historian, says that the chief cause of the rapid spread of Christianity in the days of the Roman Empire was the tremendous amount of personal work carried on by the rank and file of Christ’s followers? How did Saint Augustine come to Christ? Who did Bishop Meletius lead to Christ? What did the late Gypsy Smith say about capturing souls? What question did Nicodemus wrestle with when he came to talk with Jesus at night?
