Sunday, September 6, 2026 ~ On this late summer day, we turn our eyes to Jesus and bow our hearts before him. Welcome to worship!
Pastor’s Message: “Power Through Prayer”
Scripture Lesson: Psalm 130:1-8
Purpose Statement: How and why do we cry out to the Lord in prayer? How often when you pray do you wait to let God speak to you? Prayer consists not only of asking for things or even only of thanking God for things. Sometimes we go to God simply to refresh our souls. In His presence we find a new vision and greater hope. Prayer has been called the voice of faith. The most earnest prayer springs from the depths of our souls. The command from Scripture is this: “In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Thank you for the support of your weekly offering by bringing it to church, mailing it, or through electronic giving. A collection box is in the back of the sanctuary for your tithes and offerings.
For information on on-line giving, please call the church office.

Bible Study and/or Sunday School
Following and learning about Christ are lifelong pursuits. If we are to love God with our mind (as well as with our heart, soul and strength), then we must keep learning even into old age. Plus, when we are well informed about God’s Word and our faith, we can share it with non-Christians and express the reason for our hope (see 1 Peter 3:15). Join us for our weekly Bible Study and/or Sunday school. We have a class for you! Call the church office for more information.
