ABC 27 news came out and covered our block party on Saturday and interviewed us about the shooting that happened on Friday just down the street from the Dream Center. Our prayers are with all who were involved in this tragic event.

Thank you to all those who donated & volunteered for our 9th annual block party! We gave out:

26 people gave their lives to Christ & 7 people were baptized!

Today as I was driving down 6th st in Harrisburg I saw this man (Anthony) laying flat on his back on the concrete sidewalk. I quickly pulled over to check on him to see if he was ok. I was amazed to see at least 10 cars drive right by him before I was even able to get out of my car. Not one person stopped to see if he was ok. As I approached him I asked him if he was ok and if he needed an ambulance? He said he was ok. He just has trouble with his balance and took a fall and now he was having trouble getting back up on his own. It took me a while to get him back up to his feet but eventually he was able to stand up with some assistance. I picked his grocery bag up off the ground and gathered the contents that had spilled out all over the sidewalk. I asked him if he wanted a ride home and he eagerly agreed. When we arrived at his house I carried his groceries up the steps for him. He then sat on his porch. He offered me a seat. We sat and talked for a while. Then before I left I shared the gospel with Anthony and he gave his life to Jesus. Before leaving he thanked me for everything and told me that he feels so much better after praying to receive Christ. God is on the move in Harrisburg Pa! - Executive Director Richie Lewis

Today a woman came up to us at the Dream Center smiling ear to ear saying “every time you guys pray for me, your prayers are answered!” She went on to tell us how we prayed for her husband about a month ago who was suffering from horrible neck pain, migraines & seizures and he hasn’t had any neck pain, migraines or seizures since the day we prayed. Then this past week she asked for prayer for her friend who has been locked up in prison for 3 months and didn’t have the $16,000 to post bail. I kid you not the very next day her friend was released from prison and didn’t even have to pay bail!
