Child Evangelism Fellowship of Dauphin County is seeking an additional staff to assist their efforts in effectively reaching children in Dauphin County with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This individual would work alongside the ministry’s director, learning and assisting with the details of the ministry and ultimately taking responsibility for various aspects of its operation.

These areas include promoting the ministry in local churches, planning and conducting workshops and training classes, and directing and coordinating Good News Day Camps. Skills in organization, administration, leadership, and communication, as well as a desire to work with children are essential.

The Good News of Jesus Christ coming to TWO new schools this month! We are thankful to God for providing a smooth application process with the Dauphin County school district and two groups of volunteers to teach in new schools this month.

Do you know of a child who attends Londonderry or South Side Elementary School? Let them know that there is an exciting Bible-based club starting at their location! Contact our office with any questions and be in prayer for the teams as they work together to spread the gospel the next few months!

At each Good News Club, not only is the Gospel always presented, but there is a time set aside for any boy or girl who would like to respond or have questions about salvation from their sins.

It is often during these one-on-one times that teachers gain an understanding of the child's spiritual state and can guide conversation towards God's saving grace!

Our Good News Clubs will be starting up again after a break for the holidays. Where are these clubs held? In-school clubs are often held in libraries, cafeterias, or multi-purpose rooms. Our teachers do a wonderful job of preparing the area they have been given to use for the best learning experience for the children that attend their club.

We are celebrating 75 years of ministry at CEF of Dauphin County!

Here's a testimony from one teacher: "In 1976 I was asked to listen to children say their verses during Released Time Class in Mbg. Then I graduated to telling the missionary story. Over the years I was blessed to be able to continue to minister to children. I am 92 now and slowing down, but God has enabled me to see children enter His Kingdom!"
