We're so grateful for the youth from Hanoverdale Church for spending time serving at Paxton Ministries! 🍕❤️

The afternoon was filled with fun as they led Bingo for our residents, bringing plenty of smiles, laughter, and friendly competition.

They also rolled up their sleeves in the kitchen to help make homemade pizzas and serve dinner to our residents. Beyond the meals and activities, they shared kindness, conversation, and fellowship that made the day truly special.

Thank you, Hanoverdale Church, for being the hands and feet of Christ and for blessing our residents with your time, energy, and caring hearts!

⚾ What a wonderful evening at the ballpark!

Our residents recently enjoyed a night cheering on the Harrisburg Senators, creating memories, sharing laughs, and taking in all the excitement of the game. Experiences like these help build community, encourage connection, and bring so much joy to our residents.

A special thank you to Capital Blue Cross for generously allowing us to use their suite at the ballpark. Their kindness provided our residents with a memorable experience and a chance to enjoy America's favorite pastime together.

We love when staff family members join us to share their talents and interests! Recently, Rachel's son, Nathan, led an engaging session all about sea animals, teaching everyone fascinating facts about life under the sea. 🐠🐙🐢

On another visit, Rachel's whole family joined in for some batting practice on the back field, bringing lots of energy, smiles, and encouragement to the many residents who came out to enjoy the lovely summer evening. ⚾😊

A wonderful time was had by all, and we are so grateful to Rachel and her family for sharing these special experiences with us. Thank you for helping create meaningful memories and fun opportunities for everyone! ❤️

Make a difference where it matters most. Paxton is seeking dedicated volunteers who want to build connections, bring joy, and positively impact the lives of our residents. If you are ready to serve others in your community, consider Paxton Ministries.

We currently need volunteer receptionists who will answer phones, greet visitors, and assist residents in our main office during weekdays.

If you are a pastor or lay leader at your church, consider sharing Biblical truth with our residents during a Sunday afternoon worship service.

🎈🏐 We were delighted to welcome students from Messiah University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program for a fun and engaging visit with our residents!
The students led a variety of exercises and stretches designed to promote movement, flexibility, and overall wellness. Residents enjoyed getting active while learning new ways to stay strong and healthy.
The highlight of the visit was a lively game of balloon volleyball, filled with smiles, laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of teamwork! It was wonderful to see everyone having such a great time while staying active. There was also time for fellowship, good conversation, and some board games.
A big thank you to the Messiah DPT students for sharing their knowledge, enthusiasm, and energy with our residents. We appreciate the meaningful connections you helped create and look forward to seeing you again soon! 💙 Messiah University

Paxton staff members Kevin Noll and Amy Starr were grateful to travel to Miami, Florida this past weekend to participate in the Brethren in Christ US General Assembly. They enjoyed the opportunity to connect with many friends of Paxton and to introduce others to our work and share how they might be able to support our mission. And the bilingual worship and stories were so fun and inspiring! Brethren in Christ U.S.
