HARMONY WALK: SEptember 14, 2025, 3:00 PM.
Celebrating Unity and diversity.
The event is held in conjunction with the United Nations International Day of Peace Harmony Walk, a celebration of cooperation among religions in the Harrisburg area, starts at the entrance to Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church & ends at Hadee Mosque.
The walk brings together people of many faiths in harmony and peace. The Harmony Walk route includes Jewish, Christian, and Islamic houses of worship.
At the library entrance, walkers will be greeted by faith leaders.
At each stop, a leader will speak of the value of cooperation and harmony among religions. People of all religions, and those of no specific faith are invited.
Parking is available at Goodwin Memorial and at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. In case of rain, the program will be held at Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, in the Family Life Center.
