Pennsylvania Catholic Conference The Pennsylvania Catholic Conference is the public affairs agency of Pennsylvania’s Catholic bishops and the Catholic dioceses of Pennsylvania.

There are 10 Catholic dioceses in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Eight are Latin Rite dioceses, fully contained within the Commonwealth. Two are Byzantine Rite dioceses with Apostolic Sees in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.The Pennsylvania Catholic Conference has set broad objectives and highlighted some particular issues of concern. Today we talk with Stacy Gallagher, the new President at Pope John Paul II High School in Royersford, Montgomery County. Stacy worked here pre-Covid and always had a deep appreciation for the school and the community. She brings a lot of energy and personality to the role.

It is with great excitement today that we share a message from Mr. Bill Brannick, Superintendent of Philadelphia Archdiocesan Secondary Schools, that Dr. Allison Vinci, has been appointed Principal of Archbishop Carroll effective August 17, 2026.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Vinci has been an integral part of Carroll’s administration, serving most recently as Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs since 2021. She has been instrumental in academic growth and providing strategic direction to strengthen opportunities for students while creating systems to support their success. Prior, she held positions as the Assistant Principal for Student Affairs and Athletics and Chair of the English Department, while being an English Teacher. In addition, Dr. Vinci was an Adjunct English Professor at Pennsylvania Institute of Technology and previously taught English at Harriton High School.

Dr. Vinci earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Villanova University, a Master of Science Degree in Education with Distinction from Cabrini University, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership with a focus on K-12 Education from Gwynedd Mercy University. She also holds a Pennsylvania K-12 Principal Certification and a Pennsylvania Secondary English Certification for grades 7-12.

Congratulations Dr. Vinci, we are to call you our new Principal‼️
