We’re kicking off the month of August in a huge way! 🔥

What’s on the docket, you ask? Vacation Bible School 🧑🏾‍🏫📖, Community Day 🎟️🎪, and First Lady’s Day 🎀🎊

BACK TO BACK TO BACK!
This is gonna be an awesome week of fun, learning, and praise that you don’t want to miss!

👩🏾‍💻Vacation Bible School: August 3-5, 6:30PM Nightly. Classes available for young children aged 3+, as well as adult classes.

🍿Community Day: August 8, 12PM.
Come help us celebrate with our surrounding community. Enjoy some FREE FOOD, GAMES, FACE PAINTING, & PRIZES!

🎉 First Lady Day: August 9, 4PM
Join us in honoring our very own First Lady, Mother Jewel Holton! We want to shower her with love in appreciation for all of her service and efforts!

Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate the 8th Pastoral Anniversary of our very own Ronald D. Holton Sr.
The presence of the Lord was truly in the place!

Also, a special thank you to Pastor Reginald Frison and The Mount Zion Church for coming to help us lift the name of Jesus! If you weren’t in the house, you missed a mighty move of God and a powerful word!

The first half of the year has truly been a blessing! We have been thriving off of the theme “Higher Ground: Living In New Dimensions”. Higher ground comes with it’s challenges, but the Lord has been with us!

For the remainder of the year, we intend to go just a little bit higher with our extended church growth series that’ll take us through to 2027 simply entitled “BUILD IT”.
This is a collective thing! That looks like building more community engagement, building new and stronger personal relationships within the church, building our minds and finances with lessons on leadership and stewardship, and most importantly, we’re building the discipleship amongst the saints!

This year is all about going higher in GOD! Go grab your bibles, grab a friend, and come join us as we get ready to BUILD IT!

In 2nd Samuel 24, the scripture tells of GOD's anger towards Israel for having turned towards their own might, instead of yet relying on the Lord. BUT, the story also tells of the mercy of GOD as he called off the angel when he felt they’d bared enough.

Pastor Holton taught us a lesson on yet relying on the strength of the Lord. "When GOD says, Enough." is just the reminder we needed of the sovereignty of GOD.
