It’s normal to take time to heal & forgive. Forced forgiveness is unsustainable and will only lead to resentment.

True forgiveness doesn’t come with time but rather by doing the work to heal.

God is shifting bloodlines.

In the book of Joshua, we find a woman named Rahab. Rahab was a pr******te; a woman of questionable morals and character. In the book of Matthew, we see Rahab’s name mentioned in the bloodline of Jesus.

Wait…
Did you catch that?
A pr******te was in the bloodline of Jesus…

How did a woman who had sold herself for money, who had defiled herself, whose sins were many go from a pr******te to being in the bloodline of our Savior?

In Joshua chapter 2 Rahab helps hide two spies Joshua sent to scout the city of Jericho. After helping them hide from the King, she pleads with them to save her and her family. They told her to take a scarlet cord and to hang it in her window as a sign to the Israelites that her and any one in her house should be saved.

She took that scarlet cord, that cord that represented the blood, and she wrapped it around herself, she wrapped it around her home, she wrapped it around her family. Her act of obedience, her act of boldness, saved not only herself, but her children and her children’s children.

The scarlet cord changed her bloodline. The scarlet cord changed her story. She went from “her sins were many,” to “from glory to glory.” She went from being a pr******te to being in the genealogy of Jesus Christ.

God says today to take that scarlet cord and wrap it around yourself. Apply the blood to your home, declare it over your children. Take the scarlet cord and let it be a sign to every one who sees it that God is shifting your bloodline.

He is taking the addict and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the pr******te and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the hopeless one and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the one who is depressed and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the one whose daddy was a drunk and whose grandpa was a drunk and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the one battling mental illness and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the suicidal one and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the misfit and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the unknown and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the oppressed and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the possessed and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the reject and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the one who the devil thought he had and He is shifting their bloodline.

He is taking the one who was bound for hell and He is shifting their bloodline.

The blood is still crying out for you. The blood is on the mercy seat and it is declaring today that you shall be saved! The blood is shifting your bloodline!
