"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:6–11

Jesus Christ took our place.

The punishment that belonged to us, He willingly bore on the cross. Through His precious blood, we have been justified, redeemed, forgiven, and reconciled to God. He has washed us whiter than snow, breaking every chain of sin and shame.

The Word reminds us:

"Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin... much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ." — Romans 5:12, 17

Because of Adam, sin entered the world. But because of Jesus Christ, grace entered our lives. His sacrifice made a way for us to walk in freedom, victory, and newness of life.

We are no longer a slave to sin.
We have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.
We have been made righteous through Christ.
We choose to reign in life through Jesus Christ.

Today, remember this truth: The blood will never lose it's power 🙌
