You are invited to worship the Lord with us tomorrow at Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, AR. Our Sunday School starts at 9:30, and our morning service starts at 10:30. In the morning I will be preaching about "Unconquered Areas." There were areas that were not conquered when Israel entered the promised land and there are areas in our lives that may not be conquered and need to be conquered. After the morning service we will enjoy a potluck meal in the Family Life Center.
Our evening service at 6:00 will be led by Randy Mills and Joan Ball and we will learn more about Grief Share. Grief Share is a series of lessons that help people understand and deal with grief. The lesson tomorrow night will help us understand what to say to a person how has lost a loved one. Calvary Baptist Church offers Grief Share groups on Sunday afternoon and Wednesday evenings. If you are interested, please join us Sunday evening. After the evening service there will be a reception in the Family Life Center.

God is so good to all of us! So, let's gather together and worship Him tomorrow.
Calvary Baptist Church will have Sunday School at 9:30 followed by our Morning Service at 10:30. Then tomorrow evening we will enjoy a fellowship meal at 6:00 in the Family Life Center. We have a fellowship meal the last Sunday of each month. The theme for this meal is "A Country Supper." Those attending will bring country food like fried chicken, beans, fried potatoes, fried okra, cornbread and desserts. Just ole fashion good country food. Please join us for any or all of these services!

Good Morning All,
Today is Saturday, June 7, 2025 and we are reading Revelation chapter 5. It's a dark and rainy morning here in Jonesboro.
I am looking forward to worshiping the Lord tomorrow at Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, AR. Please accept this invitation to worship the Lord with us tomorrow!! Sunday School starts at 9:30, Morning Worship starts at 10:30 and Evening Worship starts at 6:00. You are welcome to attend any or all of these services. If you can not attend services at Calvary Baptist Church, please attend services somewhere!
We will enjoy a report during the morning service from the Gideons and learn a simple way to share the gospel. I'm looking forward to their presentation.
Grieve Share is a new ministry of Calvary Baptist Church which meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00. This ministry helps those who have lost a loved one deal with the grief they feel. There are 13 sessions and you can start at any time and repeat the sessions if you like. If you are interested in attending, just come to the church Wednesday evening, you are more than welcome. Randy Mills and Joan Ball are leading this ministry.

Good Morning All,
It's going to be a great day to worship the Lord!! Let me encourage you to worship the Lord in person at some church today. Of course, I would love to see you at Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg. But, if you choose another church, great! Just go worship the Lord today and every Sunday. Please include worshiping the Lord in your summer plans. We all look forward to summer and all the fun we get to have. Just don't forget the Lord and your church this summer.
The message I will preach this morning at 10:30 is entitled, "Sin Is that Bad." Tonight at 6:00 the message is entitled, "The Bewildering Mixture." I hope you can make it to one or both of these services. You are also invited to Sunday School at 9:30 this morning.

Good Morning All,
Today is Sunday, May 25, 2025 and we are reading 2 Peter chapter 3.
My prayer this morning is that everyone reading this is planning to attend church services in person today. There really is no substitute for being present to worship the Lord with other believers. Having a church home is important for every Christian. The support and love of a church family helps us grow closer to the Lord and mature as a Christian.
If you can, please join us today at Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, AR. We would love to see you in Sunday School at 9:30 and/or our Morning Service at 10:30. You are also invited to join us this evening at 6:00 for our monthly fellowship in our Family Life Center. This evening we will enjoy a Baked Potato Bar, some music and a devotion.

Today is Sunday, May 11, 2025 and we are reading James chapter 3.
Happy Mothers Day!! If you are able to spend time with your mother today, please do so! There may come a time when you will not have the opportunity to do so. I miss spending time with my mom!
I am really looking forward to attending church services today at Calvary Baptist Church! I am blessed today because my daughter is going to sing a special and my granddaughter and great granddaughter are also going to sing a special. We don't get to worship together and I don't get to hear them sing because they live in Illinois. If it is possible for you to attend we would love to see you at Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg today!
